This interactive, practice-driven programme equips middle- to senior-level leaders with the confidence and skills to engage in impactful, ethical, and growth-oriented mentoring conversations in the workplace. Delivered over two immersive days, the training focuses on mentoring as a leadership approach that supports development, thinking partnerships, and organisational culture. Participants explore the mindset of an effective mentor, learn how to establish trust, listen with intention, ask reflective questions, and provide supportive challenge. The programme also explores personal mentoring values, boundaries, and relational dynamics, including indigenous and Afrocentric approaches to mentoring. The learning experience includes live mentoring practice, peer feedback, personal reflection, and journaling. After the training, participants complete a short reflective task based on a real mentoring conversation and attend a follow-up virtual coaching session to deepen application. To support long-term integration, participants have access to a digital platform for 12 months that provides tools, additional learning resources, and a peer-learning chat space. This programme is designed for leaders who mentor others as part of their role and want to build confidence, structure, and intentionality into how they support growth at work.
