The Ignite Leadership Coaching for Development programme is a structured, outcomes-based coach training pathway aligned with COMENSA standards. It develops competent, ethical, reflective, and professional coaching practitioners. Participants gain a strong foundation in professional coaching and learn to distinguish coaching from mentoring, counselling, and advising. Core competencies include building trust and rapport, active listening, powerful questioning, creating awareness, facilitating growth, and supporting accountability.

Learning combines theory with practical application through observed coaching, peer learning, scenario-based activities, reflective practice, and structured feedback. With a strong focus on ethics, confidentiality, self-awareness, diversity, and continuous development, participants build the confidence and capability to facilitate meaningful coaching conversations and support sustainable personal and professional growth.
