The Advanced Certificate in Management and Leadership is a SAQA-aligned, NQF Level 6 qualification that develops practicing managers into confident, ethical, and strategically capable leaders. A post-undergraduate programme grounded in applied learning, it prepares managers to apply complex, integrated knowledge in real and unfamiliar business contexts across the South African and African landscape. The curriculum comprises six compulsory core modules plus two of three electives. The core builds from Foundations of Management and Leadership through Leading High-Performance Teams, Operational Excellence, Financial Management for Decision-Making, and Customer-Centric Marketing, culminating in a real-world Capstone applied-learning project. Electives allow specialisation in Strategic Thinking, Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation, or ESG and Responsible Leadership. Graduates demonstrate integrated management knowledge, critical problem-solving, ethical decision-making, professional communication, and accountability for teams and resources — supported by systems-level thinking suited to dynamic, diverse organisations.
